U.S. Embassy, Kingston will resume certain nonimmigrant visa services

As of Monday, July 20, 2020, the United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica, is resuming certain nonimmigrant visa services, including: F and M student visas, B1/B2 tourist/business visa renewals that are eligible for interview waiver, H-2A temporary agricultural worker visas, and C1/D transit/crew visas. While the Embassy aims to process cases as soon as practicable, there will likely be increased wait times for many visa services. The MRV visa application fee is valid and may be used to schedule an interview appointment in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment. If you have an truly urgent matter (such as a family emergency or dire medical circumstance) and need to travel immediately, please follow the guidance provided below at to request an emergency appointment:
