Welcome, U.S. Immigrant Visa Applicants

You are at the Official Immigrant (permanent) Visa support website for the U.S. Embassy in Jamaica.

MANDATORY Quarantine Requirements for Attending Appointments

TO ALL APPLICANTS: Please note that any and all international arrivals intending to interview for visas in the consular section MUST complete a documented 14 day quarantine in order to be granted access to the Consular Section for interview. Failure to provide evidence of completing the mandatory 14 day quarantine will result in cancellation of your visa appointment. The Embassy does not/not accept any exceptions or exemptions that may have been issued by local health authorities, and does not accept or review any COVID testing results. If you have arrived internationally and have not completed a full 14 day quarantine prior to your appointment, you should not present yourself at the Embassy, but rather reschedule your own date until such a time as you have completed this quarantine requirement. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
