The U.S. Embassy in Athens continues to follow procedures that prioritize the health and safety of our applicants and our employees. As a part of these efforts, any applicants who have traveled outside of Greece in the prior 7 days will not be admitted for their appointment and will be asked to reschedule for a future date. Additionally, and as a reminder, the U.S. Embassy in Athens only accepts applications from persons who are Greek citizens or permanently reside in Greece. Applicants outside of Greece should make an appointment with the Embassy where they are currently located.
