Covid-19: Visa Services and Restrictions

The United States Embassy in Chile remains unable to resume routine immigrant visa services at this time. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but are unable to provide a specific date. If you have an urgent matter and need to travel immediately, please email SantiagoImmigration@state.gov to request an emergency appointment for your immigrant visa application.

As of July 30, U.S. Embassy Santiago is resuming certain immigrant visa services designated as mission critical, including IR1/IR2 and CR1/CR2 visa processing.
