Welcome, U.S. Nonimmigrant Visa Applicants

You are at the official nonimmigrant (temporary) visa information and appointment website for the U.S. Embassy in Argentina.

Update on interview waiver visa applications

Currently, the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires is only able to process a limited number of cases, and is requiring appointments in order to most quickly process applications. All visa applicants eligible for an interview waiver (including renewals) are now required to make an appointment to drop-off the appropriate documentation at the Applicant Service Center (ASC). As local conditions change, more appointment times may be available in the future. We encourage anyone with an appointment to monitor their account on the U.S. Visa Appointment Service Website for the latest status of consular operations and updates in appointment availability.
